FT: Israel no atacará a Irán sin el apoyo de Trump

Desde inicios de año, Tel Aviv ha adoptado una estrategia "ultra agresiva", señala el medio.

El primer ministro de Israel, Benjamín Netanyahu, probablemente no se arriesgará a lanzar un ataque contra la infraestructura nuclear de Irán sin la aprobación y el apoyo directo del presidente de EE.UU., Donald Trump, informa Financial Times citando fuentes familiarizadas con el asunto.

"Los diplomáticos se muestran escépticos de que Netanyahu lance un ataque sin la autorización de Trump, tanto por temor a enfadar al presidente estadounidense como porque la mayoría cree que Israel solo podría retrasar el programa nuclear iraní durante un período relativamente corto sin el apoyo militar estadounidense", afirma el diario.

El primer ministro israelí estaría presionando al inquilino de la Casa Blanca para que respalde una acción militar contra Irán. "Ha estado presionando a Trump para que respalde un ataque contra el programa nuclear iraní desde antes de que el presidente estadounidense retomara formalmente el cargo", agrega FT.
