Trump: "El acuerdo con China está cerrado"

El presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, aseveró este miércoles que el acuerdo comercial con China fue cerrado, tras meses de guerra arancelaria entre ambos países.

"Nuestro acuerdo con China está cerrado, sujeto a la aprobación final del presidente Xi y mía. China suministrará todos los imanes y las tierras raras que sean necesarios. Asimismo, proporcionaremos a China lo acordado, incluidos los estudiantes chinos que utilicen nuestros institutos y universidades (lo que siempre me ha parecido bien). Nosotros recibimos un total de 55 % de aranceles, China recibe 10 %", escribió el mandatario en su cuenta de Truth Social.

Negociaciones comerciales

Washington y Pekín llegaron al acuerdo tras dos días de negociaciones en Londres. El pacto prevé reactivar el comercio bilateral e incluye compromisos clave: China acelerará los envíos de metales de tierras raras necesarios para las industrias automotriz y de defensa de EE.UU., mientras que Washington suavizará algunos controles de exportación.

El pacto debe ser aprobado por los presidentes Donald Trump y Xi Jinping antes de su implementación.
