Irak acusa a Israel de usar su espacio aéreo para atacar a Irán

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores iraquí solicitó al Consejo de Seguridad "utilizar sus poderes para disuadir" al país hebreo.

Irak presentó este viernes una queja oficial ante el Consejo de Seguridad de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) con la cual condena la "violación del espacio aéreo iraquí" por parte de Israel en su ataque "preventivo" contra Irán.

"Estas prácticas constituyen una flagrante violación de la soberanía del Irak y una violación del derecho internacional y de la Carta de las Naciones Unidas, en particular de los principios relativos al respeto a la soberanía de los Estados y a la no injerencia en sus asuntos internos", afirmó el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.

Irak ya suspendió todo el tráfico aéreo sobre el país, una medida que también tomó Jordania, Irán e Israel, luego de que el primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, ordenara atacar "el corazón del programa nuclear" iraní.

Bagdad instó al Consejo de Seguridad a "asumir sus responsabilidades jurídicas y morales, utilizar sus poderes para disuadir" a Israel de cometer "tales violaciones y garantizar el respeto de la soberanía y la integridad territorial del Irak, contribuyendo así a preservar la seguridad y la estabilidad de la región".

Por otra parte, el líder supremo de Irán, el ayatolá Alí Jameneí, declaró que Israel "recibirá sin duda un doloroso destino" tras el ataque perpetrado contra la nación islámica.
