Teherán activó misiles y radares para interceptar lo que el Gobierno define como una ofensiva israelí masiva sobre su territorio, en la que murieron altos mandos de la Guardia Revolucionaria.

La Defensa aérea de Irán comenzó este viernes a repeler los ataques de Israel iniciados la noche del jueves.

Irán lanzó más de 100 drones hacia territorio israelí como parte de su represalia inmediata, pero las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) interceptaron parte de ellos utilizando su defensa aérea, informó Time.

No obstante, algunos misiles lograron atravesar los escudos antiaéreos en Tel Aviv, tal como puede verse en videos difundidos en redes sociales.

El jefe adjunto de la Guardia Revolucionaria (IRGC), Ali Fadavi, sostuvo que harán "arrepentir a Israel" por la ofensiva militar, reportó Tehran Times.

Por su parte, el presidente Masoud Pezeshkian afirmó que el acto no quedará impune y que la nación actuará con "respuesta legítima y potente".

De acuerdo a un reporte de The Guardian, Irán lanzó más de 100 drones y misiles balísticos hacia Israel como respuesta inmediata, apenas horas después de los bombardeos, la mayoría de los cuales fueron derribados, según el ejército israelí.
